Woodcut and Linocut prints are inked and hand-printed by the artist. Larger prints are printed by the artist using the old Albion press at St.Barnabas Press, Cambridge. Editions usually consist of 35 examples, numbered and signed, and these are printed on papers such as the slightly warm toned Kent and bright white Snowdon. Painter, printmaker Mike Tedder is a multi-media visual artist currently living and working in the United Kingdom. With a palette of diverse figurative elements, he explores emotional responses to life, colour, pattern and language. 'Images often develop out of quick sketches, inspired by many things such as a dream, a feeling, something suddenly remembered, a song, or a particular experience. I work with a diverse range of materials, enjoying experimenting with different art media (collage, drawing, painting and printmaking). Sometimes great surprises and discoveries come from working in an alternative medium.' His artwork has been commissioned and represented in various publications, with solo and group exhibitions showing in the UK, France, Holland, Spain, Germany, Italy and the USA.
